In Real Estate, time management is essential. Our day is ruined if something interrupts the time we leave for Starbucks to serve us our daily Caramel Macchiato. But, we have more time than we realize! Here are three marketing ideas you can implement or develop while walking to Starbucks, standing in line, or waiting in your open house.
“I don’t have time to make a video of a house” you actually do have time. It’s as simple as tapping your phone a couple of times. Live video marketing is a new sensational trend in the online marketing community. The general population tends to prefer visual content to written content, because it’s a more basic form of interaction (ironic as I write this blog). Live video adds:
“Real Time” value. Social media users love to feel they are a part of a moment and live videos give them this perspective. Rather than showing them a recorded event, share with them your experience.
User engagement and instant feedback. Live video opens the door to the engagement between you and your viewers, such as questions or comments – immediate feedback.
Live Video Tip: Keep in mind key words that can optimize the search for your video (SEO). Put the key words on the file, title, description, etc. so people can find your video easier.
As social media becomes more community-like, the popularity of groups is increasing. Find a group in your city and share your content with them. Use links to your personal website, blogs you’ve enjoyed reading, or videos you’ve developed. Even though someone in the group may not be looking for a realtor, you have not tapped into their network (new potential leads) – if they have a friend that is looking, they know where to direct them.
Quora is a question-and-answer site managed by the community of its users. People use Quora to find out more about cities. You can search the name of your city and find questions that have yet to be answered (new potential leads). The user gets an answer and you make a connection: win-win.

so interesting! love the live video tip!
I agree. I think I read a post similar to this a few weeks ago. I going to try the live video while “walking” to Starbucks. The one hurdle I tend to run into is, what to talk about. Any suggestions out there?
